AC/DC-Back In Black

I thought it was about time I put on this classic. This was one of the free ones I got when I joined the Columbia House Record Club for the third time in 1980. The first album with new singer Brian Johnson. Original singer Bon Scott died in February of 1980 after a night of heavy drinking. They quickly hired Johnson and recorded this album two months later which turned out to be one of the biggest selling records of all time. “Hells Bells”, “You Shook Me All Night Long” and “Back In Black” were all big hits from this record. “Let Me Put My Love Into You”, “Rock And Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution” and “Have A Drink On Me” are some of my other favorites but every song on here is great. I have owned other AC/DC albums but this is the one essential record I still have. I would like to find a greatest hits album but I don’t think there is one. Malcom Young suffered from dementia, retiring from the band in 2014. He died in 2017 and was replaced by his nephew Stevie Young.
