A kind of Progressive/Fusion supergroup formed in 1976 for Three shows in England. This is the last of the three shows was played at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. A used U.K. import I bought in the late 80’s at Plastic Fantastic on the Main Line when I was living in Upper Darby. Comprised of Phil Manzanera and Eno of Roxy Music, Francis Monkman of Curved Air and Matching Mole, Bill MacCormick of Matching Mole, Simon Phillips who played drums for Judas Priest, The Who, Toto and many others, and slide guitar player Lloyd Watson. The record opens with “Lagrima”, a guitar solo by Manzanera leading right into The Beatles “Tomorrow Never Knows”. This is followed by “East Of Asteroid” a song from Manzanera’s other band Quiet Sun and two instrumentals. Side two starts with Eno’s “Babys On Fire”, also played on the live album recorded with Keven Ayers in 1974 I will listen to tomorrow. “Diamond Head” an instrumental from Manzanera’s solo album is next. An Interesting cover of The Kinks “You Really Got Me” with three part harmony is one I will put on my playlist. The last track is another Eno composition “Third Uncle” starting with a tease on bass of Pink Floyd’s “One Of These Days”. I remember this being pretty scratchy sounding when I bought it. The group put out a studio album in 1977.
