The Motels were an 80’s New Wave/Pop band led by singer Martha Davis. This is their third album and most popular. I had this on a cassette that I taped off the radio. I bought this record for a dollar a few years ago. There were two hits from this record “Take The L”,and “Only The Lonely” both with videos on MTV. The first song “Mission Of Mercy” was the one I like best. I also like “Only The Lonely” and “Forever Mine”. There is also a cover of the Goffin/King song “He Hit Me(And It Felt Like A Kiss)” that is also pretty good.
