Originally a double CD from 1997 this is a three record set with a different cover on blue vinyl, a Record Store Day release from 2019.This record and the two listened to earlier were bought at Rite Round records two or three years ago. There are more mellow and slower songs on here than on previous albums. There are still a few of his Psychedelic rockers like “Stars Burn Out”, “Growing Up”, “Stoneground Head” and “You Make Me Feel”. “Heritage Coast” has a nice long solo at the end. He has his usual song about growing Old, “Where The Old Boys Go” and one about the music business, “There’s Always One”. “The Pips” lasting over 12 and a half minutes is about the state of London roads, ticket prices at soccer games and an obscenity laced rant against music critics in a spoken word rather than singing. There is a killer solo in the 11 minute “The Stranger’s Mirror” but the song itself is not that great. The first time listening to this one and with 26 songs to listen to it’s a lot to take in in one sitting.
