A local Philly band, this is a used record I bought so I could put one song on my playlist. “After Last Night” was heard on Philly stations WMMR and WYSP in late ’79. At that time I was hanging out with my friend, her sister and the sister’s boyfriend at the apartment of their absentee mother. This was the roach infested Kynlyn apartments where I unfortunately lived in 7 years later. New name same roaches. Anyway my friend and I loved the use of the word fiasco in the first line and it became out favorite word for a while. Everything we did was a fiasco whether it was a trip to the store or trying to kill roaches in the kitchen. I hadn’t heard the song since then until buying this a couple years ago. It brought back some fond memories. The rest of the records songs are New Wave or Power Pop and not that good. They released one more record in 1980 with the hit “A Woman’s Got The Power”. Singer Richard Bush played in a couple more Philly bands after this while guitarist Rick DiFonzo went into session work and was one of the guitarists that played with Roger Waters when he played The Wall in Berlin in 1990. That show was broadcast live and I’m sure I recorded it but can’t find the tape.
