Two EPs released in the early 90’s so of course I had them on cassette. This 3 sided vinyl release on the Music On Vinyl label came out in 2010. One I ordered from Amazon about 5 years ago. Sap was originally released first and has five songs totaling 20 minutes. Ann Wilson of Heart, Mark Arm of Mudhoney and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden add backing vocals to a couple songs. “Got Me Wrong” was issued as a single and did fairly well. The last song, a hidden track “Love Song” is a weird instrumental with lots of noise. Jar Of Flies released 2 years later has 7 songs at 30 minutes. The first four songs “Rotten Apple”, “Nutshell”, “I Stay Away” and “No Excuses” all got significant airplay. The record was one of their most successful and was nominated for a Grammy. The gatefold cover has the usual M.O.V. glossy finish and sounds very good.
