This is another one I taped off the radio in 1978. I remember listening to the tape while still living at home. Since the record is over 46 minutes long it didn’t all fit on the 45 minute tape so the last minute and a half of “A Horse With No Name” was cut off. I’m not sure when I bought this used record but I’ve had it for a long time. Recording for the first time as a duo of Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley as Dan Peek had left for a solo career months earlier. All their hits are here: “Tin Man”, “I Need You”, “Sister Golden Hair”, “Ventura Highway” and “Daisy Jane”. I also like “Company” and “Hollywood” with some sax, but the song that is sticking in my head now is “Muskrat Love”. Written by Willis Alan Ramsey in 1972 this is far better than the Captain & Tennille cover that was a hit in 1976. A good record, the cover and the record itself is in fair condition.
