This is a 1978 album made with his so-called European Quartet.The title track is one of his most popular compositions,a ballad with nice piano and mellow sax by Jan Garbarek. “Mandala” is the only track I would call mainstream Jazz the others more accessible to non Jazz listeners. “The Journey Home” is another standout track in several different sections including an upbeat danceable part and ending with a slow blues. A pleasing album with melodious sax unlike some Jazz saxophone that can be a bit abrasive at times. Another used album I bought a few years ago. First time listening to it.
