The debut album from members of Slowdive, The Flaming Lips and The Casket Girls. Named after chalk cliffs in England, and a popular suicide spot, this is a short record (29 minutes) on blue green vinyl released in 2021 that plays at 45 rpm. Ryan Graveface is the owner of Savanah’s Graveface Records and is a member of The Casket Girls. He provides vocals as well as Rachel Goswell of Slowdive. Her husband Steve Clark is also involved in this recording. The drums are by Matt Duckworth of The Flaming Lips. 8 good songs in the Dream Pop and Shoegaze style. “Michael” and the acoustic “October” are what I like best after this first listen. I will have to listen to this one again. Most likely a one-off project. I don’t expect anything else from this band. I have two more records on the Graveface label to listen to this week.
