Airbag-Greatest Show On Earth

Another Norwegian Progressive Rock Band. This is their third release from 2013. Unlike fellow Norwegian band Wobbler whose sound is more like Yes, Genesis or Gentle Giant Airbag has a more Pink Floyd sound sometimes with a harder edge like Porcupine Tree. Guitarist Bjorn Riis’s playing is reminiscent of David Gilmore’s. I bought this last year and this is my first time listening to it. On Norway’s Karisma label this two record set with gatefold cover is on blue semi transparent vinyl. There are some issues with the pressing especially during the quiet parts. There are six tracks on here ranging from the first, a 2 minute instrumental “Surveillance (Part 1)” to the last track, the 17 minute “Surveillance (Part 2-3)”. The title track sounds really good as does “Call Me Back”. Record Connection has three or four more of their records. I’d like to get one of their newer ones.
