Bachman-Turner Overdrive-B.T.O. II

In 1970 Guitarist Randy Bachman left The Guess Who to start a band called Brave Belt with C.F. Turner and original Guess Who singer Chad Allan. After two records he formed B.T.O. with brothers Tim, Rob and Turner. This is their second record that came out in late ’73. I’m sure I bought this sometime in 1974. Never too crazy about this record, I liked their next one better and I will listen to that one tomorrow, but there are some good songs on this one. Two were Top 40 hits “Let It Ride” and “Takin’ Care Of Business” the later almost reaching the top 10. Always liked “Let It Ride” and it is on my playlist. There is some decent guitar work on “Stonegates” and “I Don’t Have To Hide” was another one I liked with it’s Swamp Rock sound. The record is pretty scratchy sounding, being over 50 years old, but has no skips or other defects.
