Klaus Schulze-Timewind

Schulze was a Krautrock pioneer involved in Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Temple. This is his fifth solo album from 1975. This is electronic music made with keyboards and synthesizers with heavy use of sequencers. Two tracks on the original release, this two CD release has three bonus tracks. The original vinyl release was 59 minutes long on a single record (it can be done!), Dedicated to Richard Wagner “Bayreuth Return” is 30 minutes long while “Wahnfried 1883” is 28 minutes. The tracks are mellow, soothing and spacey never getting too energetic. One of his most favorable works these tracks were recorded in one take in the studio. Not one to take to a party, probably best to listen to at bedtime.
