The Resurrection Band or REZ was formed in the early 70’s. They play 70’s style Rock and Hard Rock. The band is led by Glenn Kaiser and wife Wendi. This is an Unplugged CD from ’97 which was all the rage in the late 90’s. Acoustic renditions of songs from ’78 to ’95. Good singing and good playing with acoustic guitar, dobro, dulcimer, harmonica ,bass and drums with help on sax, mandolin and keyboards. Glen takes most of the vocal leads with Wendi singing lead on the Funky Blues of “The House Is On Fire” and “Colours”. Lots of songs I liked. “Shadows” and “2000” will go on my playlist. I have not heard anything else by this band. They retired in 2000 but have a couple compilation releases out. Might pick one up if I ever see one.
