A Canadian musical collective with 6 to 8 members who are also involved in other bands and solo work. A.C. Newman and Neko Case seem to be the only ones to be on every release. Always liked this band and have 6 of their records and one other CD, their first, this CD is release number 3 from 2005. A great Indie band with lots of hooks somewhat quirky especially songs written by Dan Bejar who is also in the band Destroyer. First time listening to the whole CD, lots of good songs like “Use It”, “These Are The Fables”, “Jackie Dressed In Cobras” and “Streets Of Fire”
