Well I was surprised when I put this one on. Nothing like the Psychedelic music they played at Levitation. This is more modern sounding with a bit of Hip-Hop, Funk and Dance elements in it. There were some heavy guitar riffs here and there but generally I didn’t like the vocals or this record. Black Francis and Slash add some guitar to two tracks and Debbie Harry adds vocals to “I will Never Stop Loving You” the last track and the only one I thought was OK. I must admit I am not too familiar with them except for their Live at Levitation record I listened to earlier. I do have four or five of their albums I downloaded but have not listened to. I’ll probably never listen to the thousands of albums I have downloaded. This is their tenth release from 2024 on blue green vinyl. I will be trading this one in, maybe make a digital recording of it before I do but maybe not.
