Can-Live Brighton 75

The second release of live recordings from German band Can. A three record set on gold vinyl with a tri-fold cover. Liner notes by two people who lived near the venue in Brighton, one a Can biographer are on a 4 page insert with quotes from band members. With no vocalist at this time but with original members Michel Karoli on guitar, Holgar Czukay on bass, Irmin Schmidt on keyboards with Jaki Liebezeit playing drums. This is an audience tape but it sounds good, making it seem you are sitting in the front row. There are 7 improvisations on her simply titled Brighton 75 Eins thru Sieben. Most are pretty rocking with guitar and keyboards but there are some quiet moments. Drummer Jaki really gets a workout on these tracks. The pressing is good with minimal noise even in the quiet parts. One thing I noticed is that the outer edges of the records are very sharp. Could almost cut someone.
