This is New Age Music. Constance Demby is from Oakland Ca. and plays the hammered dulcimer on these two 20 minute tracks. “The Longing” adds piano and viola. “Radiance” adds string synthesizer and chorus voices, plus bells. (Not sure if they’re tubular). There are some soothing and relaxing moments but it all sounds pretty much the same. This was released in 1982 on the Hearts Of Space label. They have a weekly program that plays this type of music. I have downloaded about 25 of their podcasts. I also have her Novus Magnificat CD which is her most well known release. Maybe I’ll give that a listen sometime.
