This is a reissue of their 1976 debut album from 1985 on the Windham Hill label this is quite different from their later work. Of the six songs four would be considered Jazz Rock Fusin sounding much like what Jeff Beck and The Mahavishnu Orchestra were playing at the time. G.E. Stinson is a decent guitarist and sings on one track “Linear Dance”. The other two fall into the New Age/World Music category sounding a bit like Jade Warrior or Oregon. “Petite Aubade” features acoustic guitar, piano, flute, and recorder. The title track has an Eastern sound to it with sitar, tabla, oboe, and more flute. First time listening to it since I bought it at the store in Mohnton. I though it sounded pretty good especially the more pastoral peices. They didn’t put another record out untill 1982 which I also bought at the same time. Both used and in vey good shape $4 each. The original cover on Passport records is much better looking.
