These five tracks were recorded between 2000 and 2010. The 9 minute &#8220;Basement Contender is a mellow instrumental with Thurston Moore and Lee Renaldo&#8217;s guitars trading licks with of course some distortion at the end. &#8220;In And Out&#8221; has some vocals by Kim Gordon. &#8220;Machine&#8221; is 3 minutes of feedback and guitar riffs. The 2 tracks on side 2 are both around 12 minutes long. &#8220;Social Static&#8221; is from the soundtrack of a movie of the same name. More noise, distortion and feedback. Save this one for special occasions like when you want to drive someone insane. &#8220;Out And In&#8221; is another track with some vocals by Moore and some more sonic experimentation. This is the third album I have bought from them that they heve released since their break-up in 2011.
