Well it’s getting near the end and I thought I would listen to the rest of the A’s at this time. These are ones I listened to seven years ago but before I started writing this blog. This is the first record I bought from him (it’s his 13th). It came out in 2011 and I bought it sometime in 2013 or 14 when I was living in Mohnton. I played side one a few times then and ended up buying six more of his records, mostly at Barnes & Noble. After a few years I decided I didn’t like him very much and traded in all but three of his albums. After listening to this one for the first time in 7 years I’m not crazy about it either. These songs are mostly acoustic Country, Country Rock or Folk. Benmont Tench and Nora Jones play keyboards on the record, Mandy Moore, his wife at the time, sings background on one song. The only two I liked were the last two on side one “Do I Wait” a heartfelt ballad about a break-up and “Chains Of Love” with a decent electric guitar solo by Adams. It comes with a poster on the cover. Credits and lyrics are on the record sleeve. Can’t trade this in because there are some very noisy parts on side two. After these I’ve got some Heavy Metal\/Stoner Rock albums to listen to, some live records and some others.
