This was one of the free ones I got when I joined the Columbia House Record Club for the third time in 1980. The first album with new singer Brian Johnson. Original singer Bon Scott died in February of 1980 after a night of heavy drinking. They quickly hired Johnson and recorded this album two months later which turned out to be one of the biggest selling records of all time. &#8220;Hells Bells&#8221;, &#8220;You Shook Me All Night Long&#8221; and &#8220;Back In Black&#8221; were all big hits from this record. &#8220;Let Me Put My Love Into You&#8221;, &#8220;Rock And Roll Ain&#8217;t Noise Pollution&#8221; and &#8220;Have A Drink On Me&#8221; are some of my other favorites but every song on here is great. I have owned other AC\/DC albums but this is the one essential record I still have. I would like to find a greatest hits album but I don&#8217;t think there is one.  Malcom Young suffered from dementia, retiring from the band in 2014. He died in 2017 and was replaced by his nephew Stevie Young. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I thought it was about time I put on this classic.
