From 1997 this vinyl release is from 2015. A used one I bought at Young Ones in Kutztown. I listened to their 4th album in 2023 which I liked. I also have two of their CDs that I did not listen to when I was doing my year of CD listening. This one has an Electronic, Experimental, Avant- Garde and Noise Rock sound to it. Some tracks have vocals, although they are in Icelandic sometimes sounding a bit like The Cocteau Twins. Two tracks with vocals &#8220;Dogun&#8221; and &#8220;Syndir Guos&#8221; were ones I liked best. Much of the records are very quiet. One track &#8220;18 Sekundur Fyrir Solaruppras&#8221; is 18 seconds of silence. The last track &#8220;&#8221;Rukrym&#8221; starts with about six minutes of silence before playing &#8220;Myrkur&#8221; backwards. &#8220;Myrkur&#8221; is the third track on side two of this two record set. Some of this is pleasing but a little too strange for me. I do like the cover of the baby\/alien.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first release from this Icelandic band.
