Although there are no long jams here they certainly play like one. With a 9 piece band including three horn players, bass, guitar by Scott Sharrard, keyboards and percussion by Marc Quinones a member of the last line-up of The Allman Brothers. Half of the songs performed are Allman Brothers songs slightly re-arranged with horns added. He sings his hit &#8220;I&#8217;m No Angel&#8221; one I always liked as well as the Jackson Browne song &#8220;These Days&#8221;. The instrumental &#8220;Hot &#8216;Lanta&#8221; features Gregg on the Hammond organ. Gregg&#8217;s vocals sound good on &#8220;Melissa&#8221; and &#8220;Midnight Rider&#8221; played back to back. &#8220;Whipping Post&#8221; has some decent slide guitar by Sharrard.  The encore is &#8220;One Way Out&#8221; with Gregg&#8217;s son Devon (not the one with Cher) playing guitar and solos on drums, bass and sax. A lot of good music in a 90 minute concert. I did get to see Gregg and his band at the festival in Johnstown in 2011 just before he was hospitalized for respiratory problems.
