Steve Kilby is the sole original member with drummer Tim Powles who has been with the band since the mid 90&#8217;s. Ian Haug from Powderfinger, another Australian band, and two others were added at this time. This is some kind of concept album about a machine in Korea, The Hypnogogue, that makes music from peoples dreams. On the inside of the gatefold cover there is a little bit of the story and each of the 13 tracks has a couple lines of written narrative and a line or two of lyrics. It&#8217;s a little hard to follow the story would have been better to include all the lyrics. The band doesn&#8217;t sound the same without Marty Wilson-Piper and Peter Koppes, more like a Steve Kilby solo album. My first time listening to it and I&#8217;m not crazy about it. I will give it another try another time.
