Another one I bought on cassette in 1994. This 2 record vinyl re-issue came out in 2016 with one blue and one orange colored vinyl. Along with &#8217;92&#8217;s Priest=Aura this is one of my favorite Church records. I had six or seven cassettes of theirs, all sold, still have 5 CDs and now six records. Of the three original members Steve Kilby and Marty Wilson-Piper remain after the departure of Peter Koppes. He would return in 2019 and stay for 12 more years before leaving again. New drummer Tim Powles was added at this time and is still in the band today.  &#8220;Day Of The Dead&#8221; the first track is one of my favorite Church songs. The rather dark and lush music sets the tone for the whole record. &#8220;My Little Problem&#8221; has a Shoegaze sound while &#8220;Angelica&#8221; and &#8220;The Dead Man&#8217;s Dream&#8221; have a more electronic or ambient sound. &#8220;The Maven&#8221; has a great guitar based jam at the end of the song. &#8220;Eastern&#8221; is an Eastern sounding instrumental. &#8220;Two Places At Once&#8221; is another great song with some violin making me think of Dylan&#8217;s Desire record. &#8220;Fly Home&#8221; is another one that is really good. At 77 minutes 7 of the 13 songs are over 6 minutes or longer.
