I said I would like to get a vinyl copy of this in that blog and last year I bought it.  Recorded over a six night stand at the Capital Theatre.  The first set is on the first two records of this four record set and includes the second ever playing of &#8220;Bertha&#8221;, &#8220;Loser&#8221; and &#8220;Playing In The Band&#8221;. The first performance of those songs was on the night before. Starting off with &#8220;Truckin'&#8221; it is followed by &#8220;Loser&#8221; and &#8220;Cumberland Blues&#8221;. Pigpen takes the lead on the blues numbers &#8220;It Hurts Me Too&#8221; and &#8220;Smokestack Lightning&#8221;, also playing harmonica. &#8220;Playing In The Band&#8221; is a short five minutes, it could last over 30 minutes in later years. The first set ends with ten minutes of &#8220;China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider&#8221; also played longer in later shows. After this I had to listen to the second set again. I think this &#8220;Wharf Rat&#8221; might be my favorite.
