Bought a few years after that. Recorded in January of 1971. This was a power trio, more Rock than Jazz. Some amazing guitar by Coryell sometimes playing some Hendrix style. He sings on the Blues song &#8220;The Opening&#8221; and on &#8220;Beyond These Chilly Winds&#8221; with wife Julie adding background vocals. Besides the three written by himself he plays compositions by Chick Corea and Jack Bruce.
