It has the embossed gatefold cover. A really good record and easily their best. I always thought this was an answer to Yes&#8217;s Fragile album. Tim Bachman left at thjis time and was replaced by Blair Thornton as their second guitarist. There are two charting singles from this album. &#8220;Roll On Down The Highway&#8221; which reached number 14 and the massive hit &#8220;You Aint Seen Nothing Yet&#8221; which reached number 1 in November of &#8217;74. Those two singles are on side one as well as the title track, &#8220;Rock Is My Life And This Is My Song&#8221; and an instrumental &#8220;Free Wheelin'&#8221;. The four songs on side two are equally as good with &#8220;Blue Moanin'&#8221; a great blues and &#8220;Second Hand&#8221; with some great slide guitar. A truly Classic Rock album that still sounds great today. I used to have their first record and the one that came out after this, Four Wheel Drive, but they were both sold. I do have a live record of theirs recorded in the 80&#8217;s which I might get to if there is enough time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Their third album and one I bought in 1974.
