Mascis + The Fog this is really a solo album with Robert Pollard, of Guided By Voices,  singing a few songs and Kevin Shields, of My Bloody Valentine adding his guitar to 3 tracks. Sounds like every other J. Mascis solo record and much of Dinosaur Jr. with his gravelly voice and manic guitar. All tracks sound good. I really like &#8220;Waistin&#8221;, the mellower &#8220;Ground Me To You&#8221; and &#8220;Can&#8217;t I Take This On&#8221;. The last track &#8220;More Light&#8221; reminded me of Hawkwind with its chugging beat and distorted vocals. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Though billed as J.
