She formed The Breeders with Kelly Deal of The Pixies but left after their first record forming her own band Belly. after ending that band she went solo in &#8217;96. This CD was recorded live at a closed hotel in Vermont that had a small club still open. in 2004. Mainly an acoustic set she has fellow New Englanders backing her up. Husband Dean Fisher, from Julianna Hatfield&#8217;s band, played guitar with Joan Wasser, who records as Joan as Police Woman played violin and Bill Janovitz of Buffalo Tom added vocals. There is also a pedal steel guitar player and upright bass. The music is pretty mellow and sounds good.
