I actually still have the CD of this I bought in 2002. This vinyl version came out On Record Store Day 2019 and is when I bought it. A two record set with a gatefold cover. As he explains in the liner notes the songs on record one were recorded in his home over a two year period and he made no attempt to fix any mistakes. One song &#8220;Don&#8217;t Want Never&#8221; stops abruptly because the tape ran out. The songs are all kind of Folky, some acoustic but all good. I liked &#8220;Let The Bad Times Roll&#8221; the best which is the last song listed on side two and is followed by two &#8220;hidden&#8221; tracks &#8220;Call That Gone&#8221; and &#8220;Postcards From Paradise&#8221;. Record two Grandpa Boy is kind of Westerberg&#8217;s alter ego and is recorded in mono. These songs are great, recorded with a four piece band and sounding like vintage Replacements. &#8220;Kickin&#8217; The Stall&#8221; is on my playlist but any of these songs could be on there.
