Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul are joined this time with the distinctive bass of Jaco Pastorius and drums and percussion by Alex Acuna Manolo Bandera. Most people would know the first track &#8220;Birdland&#8221; their best known song and somewhat of a Jazz classic. Pastorious&#8217;s &#8220;Teen Town&#8221; is another standout track. Overall the sound is more Smooth Jazz that their earlier Fusion style. Pleasant enough but not my favorite kind of Jazz. This looks like an original 1977 issue and is a used one I bought about ten years ago. This is one I will sell. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Album number 7 from this band.
