Much acclaimed by Rock writers. &#8220;Gloria&#8221; the first song is a re-working of the Van Morrison song with Patti adding some of her poetry. Most of the songs like this one alternate between her speaking and singing. &#8220;Birdland&#8221; is another standout track with Patti telling a story with some great San Francisco style Psychedelic guitar in the background. Two songs on side two were co-written with Allen Lanier who plays guitar on &#8220;Elegy&#8221; a song for Jimi Hendrix and other dead Rock stars. Lanier of Blue Oyster Cult was involved with Patti at the time and she does a spoken introduction to one of the songs on their Agents Of Fortune record. &#8220;Land&#8221; sounds like &#8220;Gloria&#8221; with more of her poetry\/stories. This is a used record I bought sometime in the mid 80&#8217;s. The record and cover are not in good shape.
