This is probably my favorite of theirs or at least the CD I listened to the most. I bought the CD when it was originally released. The songs are movng away from the Punk Rock of their earlier records to a more Indie sound. The songs on side one are all good with &#8220;The Hot Rock&#8221; and &#8220;Banned At The End Of The World&#8221; two of my favorite sngs of theirs,both on my playlist. &#8220;Burn Don&#8217;t Freeze&#8221; has some nice alternating vocals from Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein. &#8220;The Size Of Our Love&#8221; on side two is a rare slower number with some violin. The only drawback to these songs is when Corin Tucker starts yelling and her shrill voice can get a little annoying. The cover was shot in Portland Oregon were Carrie and Corin relocated to.
