It was the first record I bought of hers since the CD I had of 2003&#8217;s The Evening Of My Best. I had played side one a few times and liked it. Recorded in New Orleans with help from some local musicians. &#8220;Jimmy Choos&#8221; and &#8220;Infinity&#8221; were the ones I liked best. The rest of the side is pretty good. &#8220;Valtz De Mon Pere(Lovers Oath)&#8221;has a Country\/Bluegrass sound to it and &#8220;J&#8217;ai Connais Pas&#8221; sounds like something from the 50&#8217;s. Side two has too many slow songs I didn&#8217;t like very much but &#8220;Haunted&#8221; may be the best song on the record.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is one I bought in 2015 when it came out.
