Heavily influenced by The Velvet Underground and 60&#8217;s Pop, the record features lots of feedback and low key vocals. This is a new re-issue I bought a couple of years ago. The only song I knew was the single &#8220;Just Like Honey&#8221; from the radio and playing on the closing credits of some movie I watched in the 90&#8217;s. The record is on many critics Best Of lists and is considered somewhat groundbreaking. My first time listening to both sides it sounds pretty good to me. I had a cassette of Barbed Wire Kisses, a collection of rare tracks and B-Sides,but I don&#8217;t remember listening to it much.
