Slim played on their last two records. This record was paired with his second solo record in a two record set on vinyl for the first time. A Record Store Day release from 2015. The Old New Me from 1993 is a good old Rock and Roll record with a little Rockabilly thrown in. Side one is all good especially “Isn’t It” and “Partners In Crime”.”The Ballad Of The Opening Band” could be a companion piece of the Drive-By-Truckers “The Opening Act”.
