They play a kind of Progressive\/Psychedelic music largely instrumental but when there are vocals they are in Swedish. I have three of their earlier releases on CD and I bought this record in 2008 when it was released.&#8221;Maleras Finest&#8221;, a short instrumental, immediately makes me think of Zappa&#8217;s&#8221;Orange County Lumber Truck&#8221; who I believe is an influence on the band. &#8220;Det Tar Tid is a light progressive tune right out of the 70&#8217;s, followed by a heavy guitar solo called &#8220;Samtidigt 1 that fades out after three minutes only to fade back in near the end of side two for another four and a half minutes. It&#8217;s as good as any guitar jam I have heard. &#8220;Bandhagen&#8221; sounds like Camel&#8217;s airy  progressive sound.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dungen is a band from Sweden.
