The band included Tony Kaye of Yes and Michael Des Barres who was married to famous groupie Pamela Des Barres from &#8217;77 to &#8217;91 who was a co-writer on some of their songs. I remember when this record came out they were touted as the new Led Zeppelin on the strength of the single &#8220;Grim Reaper&#8221;, that had a heavy riff. Other songs like &#8220;Recognition&#8221; and &#8220;One More Heartache&#8221; were similar but lacked the instrumental prowess of Led Zeppelin. Ironically they were on Zeppelin&#8217;s Swan Song label. Those are the best songs on the record. &#8220;Deep Down&#8221; is an instrumental and &#8220;Wild Hot Summer Nights&#8221; is a funky almost Disco song.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This record came out in 1977.
