Originally released as a bootleg in 1986 pressings were limited to 2000 until stopped by the band. This was officially released in 2024 as a two record set. These tracks were recorded at three venues in London in 1985. Still playing their Punk and No Wave Noise Rock but starting to have a more melodic and Rock sound. Songs recorded at Hammersmith feature original drummer Bob Bert who was replaced by Steve Shelly on the later shows. For a bootleg the sound is not too bad except for “Blood On Brighton Beach” which is not good and the only song recorded in Brighton. A good collection of early Sonic Youth one of my favorite bands.
