The second release from Stoner Rock pioneers Kyuss. Formed in Palm Desert, California in ’87 by Joshua Holmes, Nick Oliveri, John Garcia and Brent Bjork. This is a 30 year anniversary reissue on gold vinyl. Although selling on 39,000 copies initially it has become a Stoner Rock classic. There are 5 experimental instrumental tracks all very short except “Apothecaries’ Weight” the last track on side one. Side one has the best songs “Thumb”, “Green Machine” and “50 Million Year Trip”. “Mondo Generator” on side 2 has a great guitar solo by Holmes.The pressing was not that good. Probably needs a good cleaning.
