This is one I bought a few years ago at Young Ones in Kutztown. It’s from 2012 and is on blue translucent vinyl. The cover is a plaque on the Pioneer Space Probe launched in 1972. The record was 20 % off. It’s the twelfth album from Anton Newcombe with frequent guest Matt Hollywood and Will Carruthers of Spaceman 3 playing on the record. The other artists have foreign names I have never heard of. My first time listening to this record and I think it is one of his best. “Panic In Babylon, an instrumental, has a Krautrock sound. Others like “Viholliseni Maalaa” and “Illuminomi” have an almost Psychedelic World Music sound. “I Want To Hold Your Other Hand” and “Stairway To The Best Party In The Universe” have his usual 60’s Psychedelic Garage Band sound. “Face Down On The Moon” is a nice mellow tune with a long flute solo. “Blue Order/New Monday” is more electronic sounding. I really great record and one I want to listen to again soon. Also a very good pressing. Some of my other BJM records are not so good.
