I thought I would listen to a little weirdness tonight. This was the latest release from The Dots from 2022 at the time. They do have one that came out last year but I haven’t seen it yet. Edward Ka-Spel and The Silverman play keyboards, synthesizers and devices with Erik Drost playing guitar and bass. It’s their usual mix of Psychedelic, Industrial, Electronic, Gothic and Experimental music with Ka-Spel’s distinctive singing. Certainly not a mainstream band, they have always been a favorite of mine since buying The Maria Dimension on cassette in the mid 90’s. I have listened to side one of this two record gatefold album once. The songs are all interesting with lots of instrumental fadeouts and weird sounds and percussion. Hard to find their records on vinyl but I keep looking.
