Gravy Train was an English Progressive/Hard Rock band formed in 1969. I had their third release on CD. This is their fourth and final album released in 1974. A numbered Music On Vinyl reissue from 2022 this one is on green translucent vinyl with the gatefold cover by Roger Dean. I always buy any record I see with a cover by him. I have not listened to this yet and found it very good. “Starbright Starlight” and “Staircase To The Day” on side 1 are quite Progressive. Others sound a bit like Uriah Heep. Also on side 1 is the ballad “Bring My Life Onn Back To Me” one I don’t care much for but I swear I’ve heard that one before. I would say my favorite right now is “The Last Day” with some flute. That will go on my playlist. The band broke up after this.
