This is the third album from Stereolab, another one of my favorite bands. Originally released in 1994 and one I have on CD this is another one of the expanded remasters that came out in 2019. I have four of them, two I have already listened to and one more I will put on tomorrow. Like the others this has a four panel fold out poster of the cover with lyrics and liner notes by founder Tim Gane. Lots of vintage Farfisa and Vox organ plus guitar, bass drums and the lovely vocals of Laetitia Sadier and Mary Hansen. As usual some songs are in French sung by Paris native Sadier. Lots of little Pop songs with the longer tracks having repetitive rhythm, organ chords and vocal phrases. It all sounds good to me. Favorite tracks are “Ping Pong”, “Wow And Flutter”, “Anamorphose” and “Nihilist Assault Group”. The third record has outakes and demos from the recording sessions. I have not listened to any of them yet.
