The second album from Superchunk. Recorded in 1991 in Chicago and produced by Steve Albini. This is a remastered reissue I bought in 2023 at the store in Bloomsburg that I like to visit once or twice a year. I have found records there that aren’t in stores in the Reading area. Grat Punk/Hardcore sound with good hooks, guitar licks and vocals by Mac McCaughan and Laura Ballance. Some of these songs were on the Tossing Seeds compilation album of singles and B-sides. “Cast Iron”, “Seed Toss”, “30 Xtra” and “Throwing Things” are some of their best early songs. They are one of my favorite bands and I now have 12 of their records.
