Really great live album from Porcupine Tree. Recorded over three nights in Rome in 1997 this three record set sounds fantastic. A remastered reissue that came out in 2023. A U.K. import, I don’t think it was released in the U.S. Progressive Rock sounding more like Pink Floyd than Yes or Genesis. Mostly instrumental, Steven Wilson does sing on some songs but vocals are few and far between. Some of these songs were on the studio albums I have and listened to in 2022 but these live versions are better. “Moonloop” has a great spacey section with Steven Wilson playing some Floyd-like guitar. Other songs I had not heard before like “The Sleep Of No Dreaming”, “Radioactive Toy”, and “Is…Not” are also very good. Porcupine Tree are a great Progressive Rock band. I now have eight of their records.
