A duo from N.Y.C. Another used CD I bought at the store at the Exeter Promenade which I guess has been demolished by now. That store had some unusual CDs for sale, not you regular stuff. My kind of store! Another one I have never played before. This is more instrumental music . Most of the CD is composed of the three part title track lasting over 16 and a half minutes. This is Progressive sounding music with solos on guitar and keyboard. A Gothic sound is present in most of these tracks. “The Passing Of a Plague” has some spoken word quoting lines from a work by writer Henry Miller. “Death By Denial” has more of an Industrial sound. “Nine Days North” opens with some children singing a song in French that I learned from a French class in 5th and 6th grade. The final track, the 10 minute “A Handful Of Poison” is more Ambient sounding with some electronic bird sounds and a thunderstorm. Looks like they put out two more recordings after this one. An interesting one to end my year long CD listening project skipping over about a hundred CDs and ending with this CD as I had planned it. I will take a little break, but this has become kind of a habit now after listening to a record or CD for over six and a half years. I think I will start up again on the 23 of September and listen to some of the records I have bought since starting this in April of 2019. 100 records will take me to the end of the year. Goodbye ’till then.
