A CD containing tracks from the two bands that formed in the late 80’s from Yes. Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe were recording their second album while Chris Squire, Tony Kaye, Alan White and Trevor Rabin were writing songs for a new Yes album. When Anderson met up with Rabin in L.A. he decided to add vocals to their songs while Squire added some vocals to some of the ABWH songs. They decoded to release both albums together as Yes. This is a CD I got from by brother- in -law along with about ten others. It had lots of scratches on it and I was wondering how it would play because my CDs were in mint condition. The CD played with no problems. The ABWH group has 9 of the 14 tracks with a Steve Howe solo acoustic piece “Masquerade” making it ten. Only four tracks make up the Yes bands contributions. “Miracle Of Life” and “The More we Live-Let Go” are the best of those tracks sounding like something from 90125. “I Would Have Waited Forever” and “Shock To The System” are the best from ABWH. Altogether a good CD. It has been released on vinyl by the Music On Vinyl label with the 60 minute recording on one record. I would buy it if I came across it. Yes continued to record with different members after this( a total of 18 since their formation in 1969) and I had a couple of their releases on cassette and three on CD.
