Paul Westerberg, the singer and guitarist from The Replacements, has had a fairly successful solo career. This CD compilation includes singles, outtakes, various artists collections and B-Sides. Westerberg had nothing to do with the song selection but he comments on each song. “Dyslexic Heart” is from the Singles soundtrack. That’s the only one I knew even though I had two other CDs of his I never listened to. In his comments for the song “Knocking On Me”, from his first solo album from 1993, he subtlety accuses Keith Richards of stealing it for his song “Nothing On Me” which is very similar even taking the line “You got nothing on me”. “Nowhere Man” is from a Beatles tribute CD which sounded not too good to me. “Angles Walk” was probably the one I liked best. Nothing too outstanding here.
